Service Terms

Terms & Conditions

Feedo Agent · Louisville, KY · Last updated

These terms explain how we work together — what you get, what's included in your care plan, how payment works, and what happens if you ever decide to leave. We've written them in plain English on purpose. If anything's unclear, just ask before you sign on.

01 Our services

Feedo Agent designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites for local businesses. We provide two things: a one-time website build, and an ongoing monthly care plan that keeps your site online and maintained.

We handle the technical side — hosting, the domain, security, and updates — so you don't have to. You provide your business content (text, photos, logo, business details) and tell us what you'd like changed; we make it happen.

02 The website build

  • The build fee is a one-time charge for designing and launching your website.
  • We collect a 50% deposit before we begin, and the remaining balance before your site goes live.
  • We'll build your site, send you a link to review, and refine it until you're happy within the agreed scope.
  • Your site typically goes live within about a week of receiving your content and deposit.

03 The care plan — what's included

Your monthly care plan keeps your website online, secure, and up to date, and includes small edits to your existing site. Here's exactly what that means:

✓ Included

  • Text changes (hours, prices, phone, service details)
  • Swapping or adding photos
  • Fixing typos and small wording tweaks
  • Minor updates to existing pages
  • Hosting, domain, security, and uptime

→ Separate project

  • New pages or major new sections
  • Online stores / e-commerce
  • Booking or reservation systems
  • Full redesigns or rebuilds
  • New features or custom functionality

What counts as a "small edit"

A small edit is a quick change to content that already exists on your site — updating words or swapping a photo. Anything that adds new pages, new features, or significant new work is a separate project, which we'll always quote and agree on with you upfront before any charge. There are never surprise fees.

Small edits are handled by email. We aim to complete them promptly, typically within a couple of business days. While edits are generous and unmetered for normal use, the care plan is intended for reasonable ongoing upkeep — not as a substitute for a new project or a continuous redesign.

04 Payment

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We don't see or store your card details.
  • The care plan is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until cancelled.
  • The build is billed as a 50% deposit and a 50% balance, as described above.
  • Larger out-of-scope work is quoted and agreed before any work begins.

05 Cancellation

You can cancel your care plan at any time — there are no contracts and no cancellation fees.

  • The current month is honored and is not refunded, as it has already been served.
  • Your website remains live as long as your care plan is active.
  • If the care plan is cancelled, the website is taken offline at the end of the paid period. This is because hosting, the domain, and maintenance are provided as part of the plan.

06 Your domain

While your care plan is active, we register and manage your domain on your behalf as part of the service.

If you cancel and would like to keep your domain name, we'll transfer it to you for a small transfer fee (or free at our discretion). We retain the website code and design we built. Your own content — your logo, photos, and business information — always remains yours.

07 Your content & responsibilities

  • You confirm that any logo, photos, and text you provide are yours to use, or that you have permission to use them.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information you give us (hours, prices, services).
  • We'll never ask for, and you should never send us, passwords or login credentials to your personal accounts.

08 Liability

We take reasonable care to keep your site online and secure, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, as some factors (third-party hosting outages, for example) are outside our control. We aren't liable for indirect losses arising from downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the preceding month.

09 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a meaningful change, we'll let active clients know by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
